KTWG AM800 RADIO

Welcome to one of Guam's premier locally-owned and operated, God-directed, Christian radio stations. These programs offer anyone who will listen a better understanding of God's love through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Two Lover's Point
Two Lover's Point:   Tragic site of two native chamorro lovers who tied their hair together before jumping off the nearly 400 foot high cliff, hence the name, which is today the most popular of Guam's tourist sites.

Brief history of KTWG Guam/Pacific AM800 Radio

Sensing the need for a Christian radio ministry on Guam, international missionary broadcaster Trans World Radio (TWR) planted KTWG in 1975.  The studios were originally located in a trailer atop Mt. Tenjo Vista.  The next year, TWR went on the air with its massive 100,000-watt shortwave transmitters in Merizo, with a signal reaching across Asia and Africa.  With the completion of the new TWR studio building on Route 6, KTWG moved to its current location in 1981.

Early on, KTWG focused on Bible teaching as well as uplifting Christian music.  After more than a quarter century, the music styles and programs may have changed, but the message remains the same: there is life in Christ!

What We Hear From You

"I am on the USS Frank Cable and my wife wrote me and told me about the request for prayer that was called in.  We appreciate the way you pray over the requests that are called in, the care and concern is noted in the broadcasts."

"My husband and I are very grateful for KTWG. I particularly enjoy Prayer and Praise from 10 - 11am each day, and all the sermons I am able to hear from the various pastors. Every Saturday morning our two toddlers love the Kids' Connection. My three-year old daughter says of the little childrens' voices singing: 'Those are my friends.'"
